Now that spring has sprung many of us are working on our homes. For a long time I’ve seen those infomercials and displays at the home shows on the Little Giant ladder system. I’ve always steered away from it because the price was hefty and things usually don’t work as well as they do on TV or with a trained demo person at a trade show.
Recently, while helping a friend work on his home, I got a chance to use one of these ladders. As usual I was skeptical, figuring that my friend had been easily separated from his hard earned cash on a ‘gimmick’ ladder.
Not the case, I was really impressed with this ladder! I was especially impressed with the ease of operation in getting this ladder to it highest height setting. It was even easy to do by myself. Once erected, this ladder feels and is very stable. I am usually uncomfortable at higher heights on a ladder. Not so with this ladder, no wobble at all. Even when some of the tasks required two of us on the ladder at once it was extremely stable… with 2 grown men on it!
It quickly folds down to a compact size and is very easy to maneuver in tight work areas and takes up minimal storage space. It is ideal for all size jobs including higher jobs when you don’t have help because of its ease of use by yourself.
It is built in the US and has a great factory warranty, although with the way it is built, I don’t see what could go wrong with it.
So in spite of the higher price tag, this is the best built and only ladder you will ever need.
