1. EXTENSION
With the functional rear section in the extension position, you can easily reach those high places, even roof and attic access ports.
2. STEPLADDER
This ladder features a wide-flared base for sturdy climbing and a narrow backside to fit between studs.
3. LEANING
The King Kombo is an OSHA/ANSI compliant leaning ladder. Safely lean your ladder, so you can get closer to your work.
The crowning gem of the King Kombo is its rotating wall pad. Now, you can safely set up your ladder on inside and outside corners, walls and studs with ease.
The King Kombo can transition from position to position in one fluid motion. The one-handed Grip-N-Go hinge allows for a seamless transition between stepladder, extension and leaning ladder configurations.
Field-replaceable feet allow for easy foot replacement on the job site. Save time and energy, while getting the job done with ease.
The extension side of the ladder has straight-line legs that are narrow enough to fit between studs. Access tight workspaces between wall studs, ceiling trusses and roof or attic access ports.

I’m a security technician and I have a 6ft and a 8ft. Both are great, all the ladder I need outside of a basic 24 extension. little heavier than your basic orange but the lean safe and the extension feature saves so much time. I bought the 6ft personally but if I had to choose one of my two it would be the 6ft. 8ft I got with company money, it is kinda heavy for carrying a distance and the open and closing the latch is going to be awkward for people under 5’10ft; My short co worker has a hard time with the 8ft. But the 6ft Little Giant is just bliss. I recommend for electrical work.

Lader is unstable, doesn't fold open right, and wobbles. I've been in construction for 38 years and these are the first ladders I feel unsafe using. How they haven't been sued is beyond me.

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
