The Select Step® telescopes independently on both sides, adjusting to the height a job needs and working safely over obstacles, sloping ground, or stairs — something most stepladders can't do. A Comfort Step platform gives you heel-to-toe support at the top, and the unusable top rung has been removed for safety. Available in both lightweight aluminum and non-conductive fiberglass, it comes with Cast Aluminum Rock Locks for fast height adjustments, built-in Tip & Glide™ wheels for easy transport, and AirDeck® accessory ports for a workstation and safety handrail at the top.

Description

Fatigue, overreaching, and using the wrong ladder for the job cause the vast majority of ladder accidents. The Select Step was designed to solve all three. Because both sides telescope independently, it adjusts to the exact height a job calls for — a single ladder that covers a full range of sizes instead of forcing you to guess right the first time.

That independent telescoping also means the Select Step can be set up safely over obstacles, on sloping ground, or directly on stairs — something most stepladders simply can't do. A Comfort Step platform gives you heel-to-toe support at the top recommended step.

Made of non-conductive fiberglass, making it safe for electrical work. Cast Aluminum Rock Locks make height adjustments fast and secure, and built-in Tip & Glide wheels make moving the ladder from job to job easy despite its size.

AirDeck accessory ports let you attach the Little Giant AirDeck for a convenient workstation right at the top of the ladder — and it doubles as a safety handrail, cutting down on the vertigo feeling that comes with working up high.

The Select Step meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI standards.

    Excellent Ladder

    I have had the 5-8 selecta step for the past 13 yrs and is used almost daily. It has served me well and is sadly showing its age. I'd love to get the 6-10 as a replacement but it is no longer available in Canada. and neither are the parts to repair ( levers, feet caps)

    Awesome ladder

    This has been the most versatile and comfortable ladder I have owned over the years I've had it. I would highly recommend it. As a professional, versatility is key in making a job go well. The air deck is a great add on as well.

    The most versatile, SAFE, stable, and comfortable

    I purchased this ladder because I've had many close-call falls while trying to pressure wash my horse trailer. So the Air Deck is SO nice to hold on to while doing precarious things on a ladder. So that resolved my issue but THEN THERE IS MORE!! The platform up near the top is nice on the feet; most ladders you only have like 1/3 of your foot on a rung which can be uncomfortable. The splayed base makes it super stable. It is a little on the heavy side because I have the LARGEST one they make but the wheels make it nice to move around. Well done Little Giant!!!
