The Epic™ from Little Giant Ladders® is a multi-position ladder in its ultimate form. Adjust your ladder to meet the needs of your project, so you can work more efficiently than ever. This tough-as-nails ladder is equipped with a variety of features that set this ladder apart from the rest.
Move from storage to A-frame to extension ladder configurations by pushing in the ladder's palm button.
Gently twist the Rapid Lock, and then slide the rails of the ladder to the desired size. Twist the Rapid Lock once more to lock the ladders rails in place.
The Epic's integrated Tip & Glide wheels help you move the ladder easily from job to job.
The Work Platform is a ladder accessory that doubles as a comfortable standing platform or work surface to hold tools, buckets and anything else your job may require.
Safety Rails extend horizontally in the stand-off position, providing extra stability, and can also be used vertically as a safe walkthrough when moving from the ladder to the roof and back again.

I very rarely use the word 'awesome' in comments for products i've purchased. This Epic 17 ladder is awesome! I wish I had bought it 10 years ago. Forever ladder.
Instructions should be organized by language. not all on the same page. major waste of printer paper. I never see any other product manufacturer do this.

This ladder I use almost every day for work and replaces my old little giant. The built in leg levelers are so nice and much faster to use then the bracket setup, and I like the new design of the mechanisms to shorten and lengthen the height also. I also have a Velocity 26 but only use when absolutely needed because of the weight difference. But this one is light and still gets the job done!

Awesome ladder. Has great versatility with the standoff. It's a little heavier than the previous model without the standoff, but it gets some time to get used to.

I purchased the Epic 26 with the accessories and it is my favorite and safest ladder yet. I will say it is heavy if you are not used to this stuff. A home owner would probably want a smaller size.

Amazing ladder , there is a bit of a learning curve though. A bit heavy until you get used to it.

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
