The King Kombo Industrial is the no-nonsense, all-in-one ladder built for trades who don’t mess around. With a 3-in-1 design that instantly shifts from step ladder to extension ladder to leaning ladder, this beast adapts fast and holds strong, no matter where the job takes you.

I work commercial refrigeration installs so we are in kitchens love the concept of having an A frame // extension ladder all in one if we have to get on top of the walkin cooler/freezers or up into the celings for any reason having an all in one ladder just makes sense

For commercial refrigeration work—especially in kitchens and around walk-in coolers—having one ladder that can handle A-frame and extension setups really does make life easier. We are a low voltage contractor in Oklahoma, Installing phone systems, computer networks, cctv camera systems, access control, security systems, commercial fire alarms, etc.
We are constantly pulling wire and installing equipment in a wide variety of applications and situations, and have found the King Kombo 2.0 ladder to be not only a very versatile piece of equipment but also a very sturdy and lightweight ladder capable of getting our techs just about anywhere that they need to get, ... safely.
Having a ladder that is OSHA approved to lean against a wall is also a huge benefit in our line of work, as sometimes there just isn't room to open up an A frame ladder to gain access to where you need to be, and with most ladders that would involve an OSHA safety violation, but this ladder solves that issue and provides a safe solution to the problem. Also, being able to extend the ladder out to an "extension ladder" saves having to carry multiple ladders to the jobsite for most of our jobs.
I have found the King Kombo 1.0 ladder to be lacking in the stability of the hinge point, however, the King Kombo 2.0 ladder has addressed this issue, replacing the hinge release and locking mechanism with a much sturdier design that has a positive locking mechanism and does not drift like the older version tends to after being used for awhile. It is also more convenient requiring only one free hand to release the hinge point, fold, and carry the ladder on to the next work area.

I just got this beauty and have used it for a couple of jobs. This is the future of step ladders. So many killer features. Also I thought the ground cue feature was hokey, but the more I use it the more it makes sense. I started getting used to the “click? before I stepped of

The ladder is rated for 375lbs. I weigh 228lbs (fully clothed). I was up on the ladder, and it started leaning inward and just folded in on itself. It caught my ankle between two rungs and landed me on my back on our yard (probably from about 8 ft up) with my ankle twisted and held high by the ladder. These are not safe.
