Attach the Little Giant AirDeck to the Select Step ladder, so you can have a convenient workstation at the top of the ladder. It also doubles as a safety handrail to minimize feelings of vertigo while working up high.
The Select Step from Little Giant meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI standards and is available with a Type IA 300 lb. rating and a Type IAA 375 lb. rating.

I purchased this ladder because I've had many close-call falls while trying to pressure wash my horse trailer. So the Air Deck is SO nice to hold on to while doing precarious things on a ladder. So that resolved my issue but THEN THERE IS MORE!! The platform up near the top is nice on the feet; most ladders you only have like 1/3 of your foot on a rung which can be uncomfortable. The splayed base makes it super stable. It is a little on the heavy side because I have the LARGEST one they make but the wheels make it nice to move around. Well done Little Giant!!!

Awesome ladder. **** heavy but that’s what the wheels are for. It’s super convenient to carry in one ladder and still be able to get to different heights. Sturdy too! If they could just figure out how to reduce weight to be perfect. Where can I get some wheels though? Do they not make the snap on ones anymore?

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
