The Epic™ from Little Giant Ladders® is a multi-position ladder in its ultimate form. Adjust your ladder to meet the needs of your project, so you can work more efficiently than ever. This tough-as-nails ladder is equipped with a variety of features that set this ladder apart from the rest.
Move from storage to A-frame to extension ladder configurations by pushing in the ladder's palm button.
Gently twist the Rapid Lock, and then slide the rails of the ladder to the desired size. Twist the Rapid Lock once more to lock the ladders rails in place.
The Epic's integrated Tip & Glide wheels help you move the ladder easily from job to job.
The Work Platform is a ladder accessory that doubles as a comfortable standing platform or work surface to hold tools, buckets and anything else your job may require.
Safety Rails extend horizontally in the stand-off position, providing extra stability, and can also be used vertically as a safe walkthrough when moving from the ladder to the roof and back again.

I live on a sloped lot with a lot of trees, and I clean my gutters often. I have always been nervous on my standard ladder. It just wasn't very stable. I also work in the medical technology field, and the emergency docs I work with say their biggest customer is middle-aged guys falling off ladders at home. So I decided to give Little Giant a try.
I bought an Epic 22' ladder with levelers and the safety poles attachment. I have no fear of cleaning my gutters now. The ladder is extremely stable and confidence-inspiring. The levelers allow me to access parts of my gutters that were on too steep an incline before. I use the safety poles to easily transition to the top of my roof, where I take a blower up and clean a less sloped part.
Yeah, it's pretty heavy, but that adds to the stability. To get it around my yard and gravel driveway, I just put it in my wheelbarrow. It fits perfectly when folded up. And it fits nicely in my shed with limited storage space.
I look forward to getting a lot of use out of my Epic ladder over the years. And I plan on doing it with no trips to the ER.

So far, I love this ladder and its ability to reach a multitude of conditions! The only downside is that its heavier than expected but the roller wheels make a difference for longer transits. It fits perfectly in my 2020 ram 1500 (5'7") bed and would make theft very hard as it fits so tight in the bed with the locking tailgate that you can't pull it out without extreme force.

Has anyone ever bought or used a little giant and said... Wow, what a waste of money or... yeah this thing isn't that great... Or... I should've just got one of those cheaper ones from Home Depot... Yeah, no. Not ever. 😂 If you're on the fence and reading this, stop and just do yourself a huge favor and buy this ladder. I literally smile every time I get a chance to use it. Lol.

Product arrive damaged, due to no fault of Little Giant. After one day of review, they made it right and sent out a new replacement. They recognized my frustration and did everything they needed to do.

Upgraded my ladders with this for improved height, unlevel ground and step through. It's also nice to separate the parts to make a pair to hold planks for work on the fascia and gutters. Heavy duty, but heavy because of that. Not for petite people. Everything stores together when folded to keep it all together.

Size refers to the ANSI definition of length. ANSI states that the size is defined by the combined length of all rail sections, with a tolerance of +/-3” on each section. Note, this does not take into account any overlap between sliding sections like those on an extension or multi-purpose ladder. This can cause a disparity in the size of the ladder versus the actual height. To determine which ladder you need, Little Giant recommends you reference maximum reach height instead of size.
The terminology for ladder duty ratings, grades, and types can sometimes be confusing. The ladder's duty rating is the maximum safe load capacity of that ladder according to ANSI standards. There are 3 types of ratings that Little Giant offers:
Type I - Made to handle everyday projects. Has a load capacity of 250 lbs.
Type IA- Designed with durability and regular use in mind. Has a load capacity of 300 lbs.
Type IAA- Built for professional performance and rugged use. Has a load capacity of 375 lbs.
Ladder specifications can be confusing due to safety regulation requirements. According to ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the ladder size is defined as the total length of each section and does not account for overlap on extension ladders. As a result, the overlapping sections reduce the total length of the ladder. When purchasing any ladder customers should pay particular attention to the maximum reach to ensure the correct product for the job.
